Stacey Solomon, who is expecting her fifth child in a few weeks, is hoping to greet the New Year with a renewed feeling of optimism.
And it appears that the 33-year-old is going one step further to ensure that negativity is kept out of her life in 2023 – by hiring a hypnotist.
According to a source, Stacey has promised her husband Joe Swash, 40, that she will stop allowing bad comments on social media to affect her.
‘Stacey has been working with a hypnotist to shut out bad ideas and stop herself from being so quickly triggered by strangers on the internet,’ the insider claimed.
‘She wants to grow a thicker skin and has vowed to give zero f**ks when it comes to all the trolls in 2023.’
They continued: ‘She’s sick of having to second guess everything she does, and she just doesn’t want to carry any of that over to the new year. She’s promised Joe she won’t let the haters get to her in the same way.’
Stacey’s New Year’s Resolution didn’t stop her and her ex-EastEnders star hubby from arguing about who their new arrival will look like.
Taking to Instagram, she told her followers: ‘Me and Joe are sitting here having a full-blown discussion about whose lips the baby’s got.
‘Yesterday we got to go and see the baby for a scan and the sonographer lady was so incredible, she got the most amazing picture of its mouth and nose and Joe thinks it’s got his mouth.
‘100%,’ Joe is heard saying in the background, before Stacey adds: ‘I think it’s got my mouth.
‘It’s got my lips!,’ she exclaims as Joe insists: ‘Bring the camera closer’ as he gives his best blue steel trying to fight his case against the argument.
‘What is that face?’ Stacey laughs as the pair both pucker their mouths for the former X Factor finalist’s fans. ‘Just a normal, relaxed face, why do you look like a carp?’
Joe explains, ‘But my lips are the same colour as my skin so you can’t even see my lips,’ to which Stacey responds: ‘That’s not my fault.
‘Why are you pouting so much?,’ she asks as Joe says: ‘You feel threatened, don’t you?’ before the Story cuts to show the sonogram.
‘This little one looks so different from all of my other scans 🥹 but who’s lips are those?’ Stacey wrote.
