Maya Jama is back in the Love Island villa with a flourish, eager to greet a new group of single people seeking romance (or passion) under the blazing sun.
The popular TV host debuted on ITV2 earlier this year, not only mesmerizing audiences with her innate charisma but also stunning them with her extraordinary beauty.
Do you remember the black cut-out garment the 28-year-old wore on her first ever show, unequivocally demonstrating (as if there were any skepticism) her comfort in standing out and drawing attention?
Maya’s first outfit for the 2023 summer season has officially arrived, and she yet again brings the heat.
Before the ten islanders settled into their new residence for the following weeks – possibly months – the TV star posed for a photo in front of the villa’s iconic heart-shaped arch, glancing over her shoulder.
For her debut, she wore a striking white cut-out outfit with a crochet pattern that extended down to her ankles, complemented by dazzling gold shoes.
The dress, which was designed by Cult Gaia and is identified as the Accalia Gown, retails at a staggering £2,500 and is also available in a vibrant red.
Behind the neck, the dress fastens, however, Maya’s flowing curls concealed the ties as she smiled at the camera.
This evening, ten individuals, comprising of five males and five females, will step foot into the villa for the first time, sizing each other up and forming pairs before starting to uncover more about each other.
Among them are André Furtado, Catherine Agbaje, Ella Thomas, George Fensom, Jess Harding, Mehdi Edno, Mitchel Taylor, Molly Marsh, Ruchee Gurung, and Tyrique Hyde, ranging from 21 to 26 years old.
Earlier in the year, having made her debut in the winter version, Maya expressed her enthusiasm about signing up for the 2023 summer series ahead of its commencement.
‘It feels special. After the first one, I feel like I’ve got the hang of it, we’ve accomplished it, most of the butterflies are gone now and I’m ready to dive in,’ she stated.
‘I’m extremely excited. It’s coming round pretty fast, it seems like we were just doing it and suddenly we are “back at it again”.’
She admitted feeling a small amount of pressure to perform as well as she did last time, after stepping into the role from Laura Whitmore.
Maya Jama is seen dressed in Cult Gaia before Love Island returns at 9pm tonight on ITV2 and ITVX.
