Run to Tesco, don’t walk, since some of your Clubcard points may expire at the end of the month.
Three million Tesco customers have only a few weeks to utilise their Clubcard points before they expire. In reality, the deadline for using your points is August 31.
The retailer says that more than £11.5 million in Clubcard points will expire at the end of this month.
The points awarded in August 2021 must be redeemed within two years, which means that customers can swap points for vouchers to spend in store or online to save money.
Alternatively, you may exchange your coupons for money off your Tesco mobile bill – after all, chatting on the phone is more enjoyable when it is less expensive.
If you’re a gourmet, your points may be doubled to spend at places like Zizzi or Pizza Express for a cheap and happy dinner.
Your accumulated points may also aid with exciting family days out or even vacations, with consumers able to redeem them at Alton Towers and Hotels.com.
Unfortunately, since Tesco changed their policy earlier this year, you can no longer quadruple your points.
However, there are alternative methods to save money. If you drive to work, your coupons can help you save money on petrol, with Tesco customers earning one point for every two litres of gasoline purchased rather than every £2 spent.
However, having a deadline to redeem your points is not a new phenomena; Tesco previously had consumers scrambling to redeem £15 million in coupons by May 31.
