*Warning: Major Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania spoilers ahead.*
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is finally here, ushering in Phase Five of the MCU and much more Multiverse mayhem.
In the film, we witness Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), trapped in the Quantum Realm with his family, which includes Cassie (Kathryn Newton), Hope Van Dyne/Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), and her parents, Dr Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer).
Janet was recovered in the previous film after being held for 30 years, and Quantumania reveals what she was up to all that time – and who she met, who we now know was Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors).
After unwittingly assisting Marvel’s latest supervillain in finally working his technology in order to leave the Quantum Realm, the Lang-Pym-Van Dynes were thrown into a race to defend it and its people from his invading methods – a race that they lost. But what’s next for Marvel’s newest villain?
This is your final spoiler alert!
What happens in the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania mid-credits scene?

Yes, we’re back in final Marvel form with two unique teaser scenes in the credits as we prepare for more Phase Five.
The mid-credits scene reveals a rather terrifying Council of Kangs situation, as we travel beyond the usual constraints of time and space and encounter the massed variants of Kang that the character (this one known as He Who Remains) had already warned Loki and Sylvie of during the Loki season one climax.
Remember: he’s learned to master and control time, therefore there are endless Kang variations!
There are also comic book references here, with Immortus and Rama-Tut appearing among the council as they contemplate the death of the Exiled One, who we can likely conclude is our Conqueror.
However, rather than celebrating his death, the assembled Kangs in a massive stadium are more disturbed that there is someone in the Multiverse capable of undermining their authority.
With an army of Kangs assembled, their purpose appears to be apparent, as they tease threatening to remove the Avengers from the main MCU timeline to protect themselves and their goals.
With so many Kangs on the loose, it definitely lays the stage for a massive full-team battle with all of the Avengers later on, as well as a shifting but menacing threat that can bide its time where required.
What happens in the Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania post-credits scene?

The post-credits sequence promises Loki season two, perfectly wrapping off Majors’ MCU debut as He Who Remains, the first Kang version we saw.
Set around the turn of the twentieth century, a guy named Victor Timely is shown onstage doing a science experiment – portrayed, of course, by Majors and so probably definitely a Kang variation.
The camera then pans out to see Loki and Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) among the audience.
Loki then informs Mobius that Timely is the most terrible and powerful guy he’s ever met, therefore proving his idea.
Mobius appears to know who Loki is in this interaction, a departure from the TV show’s devastating ending, which suggests that a lot must have transpired since (or was it before?) we last saw them.
Loki Season 2 will premiere this summer.
