A new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has arrived, bringing Harrison Ford back to the big screen where he belongs.
The 80-year-old actor will reprise his role as the renowned archaeologist in the fifth installment of the action movie, which will be published on June 30.
He leads a cast that includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays his equally daring goddaughter, Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, and John Rhys-Davies.
In the two-minute teaser, we see Indy reluctantly come out of retirement to assist Helena on a mission to capture the enigmatic object, which has the potential to cause significant harm.
‘Dad told me you found something on a train during the war. A dial that could change the course of history,’ she says.
Confused by Helena’s intentions, he questions: ‘Why are you chasing the thing that drove your father crazy?’

Jürgen Voller, played by Mads, is seen attempting to get his hands on the dial himself, declaring, ‘Hitler made mistakes and with this I will correct them all.’
Clearly, the professor isn’t one to back down from a death-defying challenge, and film shows him riding a horse in front of a New York subway train, jumping from buildings and leaping around a tuk-tuk in an attempt to rescue the planet.
‘You’ve taken your chances, made your mistakes, and now a final triumph,’ Helena suggests, as he adds: ‘I’ve been looking for this all my life.’
The Dial of Destiny marks the first Indiana Jones film that has not been helmed by Steven Spielberg, who instead served as executive producer while James Mangold stepped in to direct.

When asked where the action legend appears in the new picture, the filmmaker replied that viewers will witness some of his weariness with stunts.
‘I wanted to follow Harrison’s own lead and simply deal with it straight on,’ he told the Hollywood Reporter.
‘It’s not just a movie about a hero in his twilight years who is called back into action.
‘It’s more than just that his bones might ache, it’s that his soul might ache, or that some of his optimism or sense fitting into the world might have evaporated.’
The film will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18th, followed by an official release the following month.
Following the announcement of the film, he revealed that he would be leaving the role for forever, stating, ‘This is it. I will never care for you again.’
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be released in cinema on June 30.
