Happy Valley’s final episode has finally aired.

The episode was seen by 7.5 million people, making it the most-watched show of 2023 thus far.
Furthermore, during awards season, many fans are seeking Baftas for the cast and crew.
While there will be no more Happy Valley to see, main cast member Sarah Lancashire, who has captivated hearts and minds throughout the country with her portrayal as Sgt. Cawood, may be found in other locations.

Last Tango in Halifax (2012-2020)

Last Tango in Halifax, written and directed by Sally Wainwright of Happy Valley, depicts the lives of two widows who reconnect and decide to marry. Their arrangement brings both of their families together.
Sarah initially featured on the programme in 2012 as Caroline, Celia Dawson’s daughter (Anne Reid). As the programme addressed LGBTQ+ topics, Caroline began a same-sex relationship with Kate (Nina Sosanya).
Last Tango in Halifax was not Sarah and Sally’s first collaboration, but it was the first time Sarah had starred in a production conceived by Sally.
Sarah will continue to play Caroline until the show’s conclusion in 2020.

However, the building collapses, killing the site’s manager as well as eight adolescents who were trespassing on the plant’s property at the time. Leona (Jade Croot), Polly’s daughter, is involved in the event.

Sarah received her big break on British TV when she portrayed Rovers Comeback barmaid Raquel Wolstenhulme (later Watts) in ITV soap Coronation Street from 1991 until 1996, with a brief return in 2000.
During this period, Sarah would meet Happy Valley writer and creator Sally Wainwright for the first time. Their creative partnership would later lead to more popular series on British television.
Sarah starred in nearly 500 episodes of Corrie, working behind the bar at the Rovers, marrying Curly Watts (Kevin Kennedy), and finally leaving the street (and Curly) to take a job in Malaysia.
She returned for one episode four years later, telling Curly that she was pregnant when she left and giving birth to their daughter, Alice, before going to France. Curly and Raquel have decided to divorce and split.
