Alesha Dixon experienced a flashback as a familiar person auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent.
This weekend marked the return of Alesha Dixon to the judging panel, joining Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and newcomer Bruno Tonioli.
In classic BGT fashion, there was a choir, who wowed the audience with a tremendous rendition of Emeli Sandé’s Brighter Days.
The communal chorus, dubbed The Big Sing, included singers ranging in age from three to 83.
‘We’re a community choir, we’re just made up of normal people who love to sing and we sing really uplifting music to make you feel good,’ said auditionee Gemma, who formed the group with her husband Howard.
When Simon asked what their ‘huge dream’ is, singer Gemma understood right away.

‘We want to get as many people singing as possible,’ she said.
‘We just want people to come and join us and enjoy the love of singing.’
And it was Howard who got Alesha’s attention, as she immediately recognised him as a member of the noughties girl band Mis-Teeq.
‘I actually know Howard very well,’ Alesha, 43, told Simon, 63.
‘He used to play for Mis-Teeq,’ the Scandalous singer told judge Bruno, 67.

Howard played piano for the choir, who blew everyone away and earned a standing ovation, as well as four yeses from the panel.
Praising the talents of the choir – who later revealed there are 350 members in total – Alesha struggled for words.
‘How do we sum this up?’, she said, amazed.
‘I just felt so joyful through the whole thing. Outstanding.’
‘It reminded me of the scene in Wizard of Oz where everything is in black and white and then the magic happened,’ Amanda added.
Viewers at home were equally as stunned by the performance, as one Twitter user wrote: ‘Wow I did not expect that at all with nearly the entire audience singing! The Big Sing were absolutely fantastic and the two little kids at the front are so adorable!’
‘Well that was uplifting wasn’t it! Loved The Big Sing’, tweeted another.
‘Made me get goosebumps!!!!’, another added.
Britain’s Got Talent continues Sunday on ITV1 and ITVX.
