On this year’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing, Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell are going from strength to strength.
However, in addition to clearly having an amazing dancing connection, the EastEnders star has lightheartedly stated that he’s ‘falling in love’ with his professional dance partner.
Bobby, 20, surprised audiences with his Mick Jagger-esque hips when he and Dianne, 34, did a Romeo + Juliet-inspired Samba for Movie Week on the BBC programme on Saturday night.
The judges unanimously awarded them four eights, giving them a total of 32 points out of a possible 40 and ranking them fourth on the leaderboard.
Following their performance, the actor lavished praise on his girlfriend when speaking at the Pride of Britain Awards, referring to her as a “diamond.”
‘I could speak about Dianne all day. She’s just a diamond – you know what, I’m falling in love with her. She’s just great. I feel very lucky,’ he told The Mirror.
Dianna is in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend Joe Sugg, 32, whom she met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
The couple made it to the finals of the competition, but came in second place to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, who are also currently together.
Bobby split from his girlfriend, model Liberty Love, in September, just before his stay on Strictly.
The former pair were believed to have been in a relationship for 18 months before calling it quits.
When quizzed on TikTok about why they weren’t together any more, Bobby shared: ‘It didn’t match my priorities.’
A source told MailOnline: ‘She and Bobby had been on and off but now it seems that it’s over for good.’
Bobby talked up about what he was hoping for on his Strictly adventure before taking to the dancefloor for the first time.
‘You go through so many emotions and to go through those emotions with someone is a really sweet beautiful thing,’ he told The Sun.
‘I’m single, I’m looking for a beautiful relationship – like a big sister. I’m looking for a really sweet lovely endearing experience.’
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
