Bruno Tonioli, one of the judges on Britain’s Got Talent, is accustomed to performing on stage, but he recently got to see a performance of his own when a magic trick turned out to be a striptease.
On the long-running talent show’s episode airing on Saturday night,’magicians’ Rocky and Billy invited the former Strictly Come Dancing judge and Amanda Holden to the stage.
They mentioned that they wanted to concentrate on magic and how it was a “crucial part” of both of their life while Billy disclosed that his day job is working as a garden furniture salesman and Rocky is a language instructor.
The duo expressed their desire to win the tournament before stepping onto the stage and subsequently informed the judges that they were about to experience something really spectacular.
The pair brought the two judges to the stage before they began their performance and requested them to take a seat.
Bruno had no interest in what was going to happen at all, but he swiftly changed his mind.
Amanda’s selection of a number between 1 and 5, after continuing the act and requesting her to do so, matched the word pony.
When the curtain Rocky and Billy had been holding came down, everyone was expecting to see an animal, but what they saw was a man.
Then the 1996 song Pony by Ginuwine began to play, and everyone seemed to be confused.
Bring on the bewildered looks.
However, as more men entered the theatre, it became abundantly evident that this was a totally different sort of magic performance.
Bruno tried his own dance steps, leaning back on his chair and strutting his stuff as the guys started dancing and stripping.
Alesha Dixon joined in the laughter, while Simon Cowell grinned while covering his face with his palm.
Then, three dancers encircled Bruno, who appeared to be pleased that he had been picked to see the performance up close.
Amanda was unsure of where to look.
People in the crowd rose to their feet when Billy disclosed that they weren’t truly a magic act, which had become clear by the time the show was through.
‘That was genius,’ Alesha exclaimed.
‘You made my night and you made everybody’s night,’ Bruno excitedly shouted out.
When Simon turned to Bruno to ask his verdict, he didn’t flinch: ‘Oh, what do you think? YES.’
Alesha and Amanda agreed, with the act sent through to the next round.
Britain’s Got Talent continues on Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
