Carol Kirkwood, the BBC Breakfast weather presenter, demonstrated her professionalism after being attacked by dogs during a live transmission.
The 61-year-old Scottish journalist has already had several well-documented run-ins while trying to report on the weather, and her latest was equally amusing.
Carol was dispatched to the Guide Dog National Centre in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, on Wednesday’s edition of the show.
Carol mentioned multiple times that she was having a terrific day at work, despite the fact that a couple of her new acquaintances attempted to make her job a little more difficult.
Early in the episode, hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent crossed to Carol, where it became evident that several of the puppies were very restless.
Carol was surrounded by three gorgeous nine-week-old Labradors as she tried to explain where she was to viewers, one of them chose to leap up and start licking her face as she talked.
Carol continued, saying she was meeting nine puppies who had been brought to the clinic for vaccinations, a health check, and microchipping before being sent on to get training for their new responsibilities.
As soon as Carol announced the training, one of the puppies leapt up and began biting Carol’s hair, followed by another attempting to bite her microphone.
She didn’t seem to mind though, continuing to call the puppies adorable and playful before eventually telling one to: ‘Get off my mic you little monkey.’
Continuing trying to balance playing with the puppies and sharing the weather report, Carol got through it all before Sally said she thought the presenter ‘deserved an award’.
‘One was eating your microphone, and another was eating your hair…that was properly professional. Well done,’ she said.

Jumping in, Jon joked: ‘Have you been using that meat flavoured shampoo again?’
Sally stated there was ‘carnage’ unfolding and predicted it would ‘only get worse,’ which it did as the pups proceeded to cause commotion and leap on Carol every other time she gave the weather during the broadcast.
She joked that while she had a hair appointment scheduled for the weekend, she didn’t need to worry about it now that the dogs had gotten to her hair beforehand.
Carol has had a run-in with the camera three times now.
Earlier this month, she was reporting from Wimbledon when a search dog named Ray suddenly leapt into action and strolled right up to the camera, carrying Carol, who was holding his lead, with him and pulled her to the floor.
While the hosts were checking on Carol, they couldn’t help but chuckle, with the weather presenter smiling as she was dragged.
‘It’s happened again,’ Sally said, in reference to Carol being taken out by a guide dog in 2021.
A similar event occurred two years ago when another Labrador named Flash pulled and dragged her while on set at the Chelsea Flower Show.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays from 6am on BBC One.
