Fans of Sally Wainwright’s show Happy Valley have apparently been urged not to discuss the last episode on social media.
The last episode of the renowned BBC series, starring Sarah Lancashire and James Norton, is sure to captivate audiences when it airs on Sunday.
The critically acclaimed third season has featured a tug of war between Catherine Cawood (Lancashire) and psychopath Ryan (Rhy Connah) (Norton).
The Cawood family was taken into a safe house in the penultimate episode after Tommy successfully escaped from a courtroom and went on the run, with viewers anticipating an epic clash in the finale.
While Happy Valley fans in the UK only have one day to find out if Catherine will book her dream post-retirement vacation to the Himalayas or whether Tommy will leave to Marbella with Ryan, viewers worldwide will have to wait longer.
Season three will premiere on the AMC network in the United States in May.
As a result, the Line of Duty broadcaster is said to have warned fans not to expose too many facts from Season 3 Episode 6 on social media.
‘Everyone wants to chat about the finale, but it would be fantastic if viewers didn’t give too much away on social media so that overseas fans could enjoy the series without too many spoilers,’ a BBC insider told The i.
The internet has been ablaze with crazy speculations about how events in the Calder Valley will play out in the finale, with some fans assuming Ryan will murder his father.

Others are concerned that Catherine will be slain after finally confronting Tommy.
Of course, all the actors have been staying extremely quiet about the drama’s climax, however Neil Ackryod actor Con O’Neill said it was ‘amazing’ while James, 37, hailed it as ‘wonderful’.
Happy Valley concludes on BBC One and iPlayer on Sunday at 9pm.
