During an interview on This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, Chris Moyles made a jab at Loose Women.
When Holly and Phil spoke to the Loose Women studio, the 49-year-old was on the ITV sofa.
Kaye Adams was informing viewers about the upcoming edition of Loose Women.
Frankie Bridge and Jane Moore were seen with tape over their mouths, and Kaye shared that they planned to discuss the benefits of sleeping with it, after Tess Daly revealed she does it.
The episode would also discuss Judi Love’s disdain of camping, and Mo Gilligan would appear as a guest.
Despite the fact that the show has tens of thousands of viewers, Chris did not appear to be one of them and was unhappy with the lineup of themes.
He remarked: ‘Good Lord, the guests are on point, but they’ve finally run out of material on that show haven’t they. What are they doing sticking tape on people’s mouths?’
Holly, 42, and Phil, 61, were genuinely surprised by his statements as their mouths dropped wide.
Phil pressed Chris on his remarks, saying, ‘It’s a big deal.’
He wasn’t having it, and said: ‘They are making it up.’
Holly then jumped to the defence of her colleagues pointing out: ‘Tess Daly does it.’
He then replied: ‘She’s absolutely crackers.’
Holly made the decision to cut her losses and stop arguing with Chris. She merely nodded and said, ‘Thanks, Chris.’
Chris was on the show promoting his new DJ tour: ’90s Hangover Live,’ and he ended up reminiscing with Holly about their shared past.
It was even revealed that Chris was a guest on This Morning on Holly’s very first day in 2009.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
