I’m A Celebrity viewers sighed a collective sigh of relief as Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix appeared to bury the hatchet following a tense confrontation.
The campmates’ friendship soured after Fred, 51, stated he felt like her father due of their age difference (the YouTuber is 26).
Nella, who lost both parents when she was young, claimed she felt ‘disrespected’ by the words after the Road Trip host apologised.
While she accepted the maitre d’s sorry, she told him: told him: ‘I don’t want to eat no food that you’re cooking, don’t talk to me, you stay over there, I stay over here and we can live.’
The celebs were given the Locker Shocker task on Thursday’s night programme, with the winning five campmates transferring to a new luxury camp.
Nella and Fred were two of the five celebrities that completed the challenge, pushing them to live in a more personal environment.
But it took a long time for the formerly fighting couple to reconcile, preferring to participate in a Slam Dunk’d challenge, much to Danielle Harold’s joy.
‘Fred and Nella have both volunteered to go out for the challenge today,’ the EastEnders star said in the Bush Telegraph. ‘I reckon this will bond them even closer.’
Nella and Fred competed against Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard and JLS singer Marvin Humes from the losing side for a slap-up brunch.
Fortunately for world order, Nella and Fred blasted the challenge and even exchanged a high-five as they triumphantly returned to camp.
ITV fans on X, then known as Twitter, were overjoyed that the dispute had been’squashed,’ with many anticipating that they would now be ‘best friends.’
One delighted fan enthused: ‘Ahhh that put a smile on my face I’m glad man! Nella and Fred smashed that#ImACeleb.’

‘You guys are more bothered about the Nella and Fred beef more than they are. you can get over it now #ImACeleb,’ another commented.
A third raved: ‘Nella and Fred shooting hoops acting like besties wasn’t the plot twist I was expecting this evening #imaceleb.’
There had been an online outcry in response to Nella’s response to the row, which TV actress London Hughes stated on X was rife with ‘racist discrimination.’
The comedian, 34, wrote: ‘Whether you choose to believe it isn’t my problem. But there’s real hatred in these tweets aimed at Nella! It’s dripping with racial prejudice.

‘Words like ”sub-human” and “disgusting animal” to describe a black girl you disagree with on a family entertainment show? Really?’
London isn’t the only celebrity to support Nella’s reaction to Fred, with Janet Street-Porter of Loose Women labelling him a ‘weirdo.’
She said on the ITV show: ‘In Nella’s defence, I found Fred incredibly patronising,’ she began.
‘I mean, he’s not serving food in a restaurant now, he’s not dealing with difficult customers.
‘I can see that what he said to her could’ve offended her and also, looking at her backstory, her parents came from the Congo, they went to Belgium, both of her parents died within a few months of each other…’
Janet continued: ‘It’s not Fred’s fault and he will not be aware of it, but that will inform how she reacts to him.’
Meanwhile, Fred’s First Dates co-stars Cici Coleman and Laura Tott recently stated on This Morning that disagreements are unavoidable in a ‘pressure cooker’ situation.
Cici said: ‘They are going to have moments where things are misconstrued, misunderstood and it’s normal, things will happen.’
I’m A Celebrity continues tomorrow on ITV and ITVX at 9pm.
