Linda Robson startled the Loose Women panel when she revealed where her daughter was conceived.
The 65-year-old broadcaster, who has children Louis and Roberta with husband Mark Dunford and an elder daughter Lauren with her ex Tony Tyler, did not identify whose girl she was referring to.
The panel was discussing strange baby names, with Avaccudo reportedly becoming more popular, when the topic went to Brooklyn Beckham.
‘Brooklyn’s a beautiful name,’ said host Christine Lampard. ‘But it was the reasons why Brooklyn was called Brooklyn, because it’s supposedly where he was conceived. I think he’d grow up going, “Urgh! Mum and dad!” ‘
However, Linda interjected: ‘My son said to me, “Mum, why did the Beckhams call him Brooklyn?” I said, “Because that’s where he was conceived. I was gonna call your sister Kitchen Table!’
Christine and Kelly Holmes were left in stitches as Brenda Edwards laughed: ‘Wow! Outrageous!’
The studio audience couldn’t hold back their laughter either as Linda insisted it was a ‘story story’.
‘It’s almost could’ve been way worse,’ Christine said as she struggled to contain her own laughter. ‘I mean, that’s not too bad!’
Not one to miss an opportunity, Linda jumped back in: ‘Could’ve been Back of the Car!’
Meanwhile, while Brenda isn’t a fan of using ‘fruit or veg’ as inspiration for baby names, she doesn’t mind parents going off the beaten path, and pointed out that there may be some significance behind it.
‘I don’t have conventional names as such – Jamal and Tanisha, but Jamal is “Son of Love,” and Tanisha is “lovely,” so I chose it that way,’ she continued. I’m not sure I’d go for any fruits or vegetables, and names aren’t really my thing.’
On the subject of names, she revealed that her maiden name meant her classmates couldn’t help but make Simpsons references whenever she was around.
She said: ‘At school, I was teased because my maiden name is Artman, and B, and I was called Bartman. At the time, the cartoon, the song was, “Do the Bartman!” ‘
