Love Island viewers were completely behind Shaq Muhammad when he “got real” with Ron Hall about his indecision with Ellie Spence and Lana Jenkins. Fans of the show were cheering him on.
The financial adviser has been forthright about his emotions for Lana, and the two have spent many personal moments together, including a “decent” kiss just a week ago, after which he told her, “you’re the full picture.” He has also been clear about the fact that he is in love with her.
However, it is safe to say that the Essex lad’s brain has been all over the place, which has caused the 25-year-olds to not be in the most comfortable position with their relationship.
First, it was Zara Lackenby-Brown who piqued his interest, but now it appears that Ron has his sights set on bombshell Ellie from Norwich. Or does he not?
In the episode of the Juggernaut series that aired on Friday, Ron sat down with Ellie for a conversation, giving the impression that he was interested in investigating the possibility of forming a partnership.
Speaking about Lana, he said: ‘She’s not my girlfriend, you can’t just wife sort of wife yourself off.’

‘Yes, I’ve made her aware of the situation,’ he continued, when Ellie asked if Lana knew the score. ‘I know it’s going to be hard for her.
‘But I’m going to speak to you, I’m going to tread carefully but at the same time, I’ve gotta do me and I’ve gotta be selfish and do what I want to do and that is, get to know people who I find attractive and click with – and see how far that goes.’
However, Ron also spoke to Lana and downplayed his interest in Ellie, explaining: ‘I don’t think she has a chance of swaying me. I think I’m gonna do something mad and “dead it” tonight.

‘I just want to, I feel like we are too good. When I spend time with you there’s no way she’s ever going to touch this.’
Shaq confronted Ron after observing the latter’s lack of decisiveness. He informed Ron that he didn’t agree with what Ron was saying and added that the latter is always performing what he calls “complete 360s.”
Viewers of Love Island have criticised Ron for his “flip flopping” on his feelings toward the two women, and many of them have praised Shaq for “calling him out.”
One wrote: ‘Love how Shaq told Ron how it was. Fully admire that.’
‘Love Shaq parenting Ron over the Lana and Ellie situation,’ a viewer remarked, while another added: ‘This is how men should talk to their mates!!! Shaq talking the straight truth putting Ron in his place.’
A fourth penned: ‘Proper rate Shaq for telling Ron how it is and what he’s been saying etc is very contradictory.’
We’re having trouble keeping track of everything; how about you? When it comes to Lana and Ellie, can Ron finally make a choice, or will another Islander sway his opinion?
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
