Love Island star Adam Collard has said he’s dating again and is a bit of a ‘hopeless romantic’ – despite his background on the reality dating series.
The 26-year-old returned to the villa in what was the biggest surprise of last season, having left before the final with Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne, however the pair split up not long after.
Adam originally appeared on the reality dating show in 2018, when he was paired up with Zara McDermott, and the couple even moved in together before splitting up.
But Adam is currently dating once again, and labels himself a ‘hopeless romantic’.
‘As much as I’ve been ruthless in the past with relationships, and yeah, I’ve ended things when things didn’t work out, I’m actually a hopeless romantic,’ he said.
‘I do think there is someone for every person and I want to go and do all the things I like to do with someone else.’
The fitness influencer continued to The Sun: ‘I want a wife and kids as much as the next person.’

He also told the tabloid that he ended things with Paige, saying it was ‘probably a little bit my fault’ and that he needed time to ‘analyse’ if their relationship was going to work.
This comes after Adam hinted at a third trip to the Love Island mansion.
He previously said: ‘I’d consider Love Island for a third time, but I don’t think producers would have me back as I was too soppy and didn’t cause enough drama.’
Shortly after leaving the villa for the second time, Adam had opened up about what made him want to return.
‘You are getting a few followers, if you have a business like me it’s going to help amplify that and that put you in a better situation and there’s going to be loads of really good opportunities afterwards,’ he said in a YouTube video.
‘So yes, everyone comes on and says I am here to find love and that, yes you kind of are and obviously that is unreal but nobody is daft.’
‘Everyone has seen Molly-Mae absolutely smash the hell out of life and to be fair she has smashed the hell out of her relationship [with Tommy Fury] as well but even if you can get a little piece of that, if you have been in the villa for long enough, you know you are going to be pretty set up for life,’ he added.
Love Island returns on Monday, January 16 at 9pm on ITV2.
