Jake Cornish had a hair transplant to address his receding hairline.
He rose to prominence on 2021 Love Island, when he paired up with Liberty Poole, however things soured before the final, and the duo exited with only four days left on the ITV dating programme. He began his hair quest just a year after leaving the mansion.
He had a full head of hair but was unhappy with his hairline, so he went to specialists – the KSL clinic.
He called the choice ‘the best thing I’ve ever done’ on Instagram, and has now spoken out about his secret hair transplant and encouraged others to pursue similar treatments if they are considering it.
‘If you want it, just go and get it done. Who cares what people think. It’s my hair.’
He continued to the Daily Mail: ‘When I was 19, I just had my hair pulled back, I had a perfect straight line. As I’m getting older it’s slowly receding.’

‘They say never to cheat on your barber,’ the 26-year-old remarked.
‘Sorry barber! I always had short back and sides, now I have my hair long and slicked-back. I was never able to do that before!’
Former Love Islanders Jack Fincham, Max Morley, Dom Lever, Alex Beattie, Kier Nicholls, and Rosie Williams are among those who have endorsed the clinic.
Greg Shepherd from Family Diaries, Adrian Sanderson from Married at First Sight, and Jaymi Hensley from Union J have all paid visits.
We thought they both looked wonderful, but whatever made them happy!
Jake and his new barnet will be making their way to Hollywood in the upcoming film Mr Hyde: The Untold Story.
‘Meet DI Jacobs,’ he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself in character.
‘Over the moon to announce that I am playing such a big role in the new @mrhyde_2022 untold story film.’
He added: ‘Who knows? New change of career. I’ve always wanted to be involved in films and here we are. An actor I can’t wait to get started on filming.’
The film’s frightening slogan is: ‘Imagine if everything you’ve heard thus far is a lie.’ To be honest, I’d prefer not.
Adam Astill, who has been in Holby City and Eastenders, is his co-star.
Jake is following in the footsteps of previous Love Island stars like as Dani Dyer and Olivia Hawkins, who left reality to pursue a career in film.
Got a story?
