I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers seem to have predicted Fred Sirieix’s ‘game plan’ in the jungle, and they’re not too happy about it.
The 51-year-old First Dates actor has survived the first two eliminations, which have seen Frankie Dettori and Nella Rose thrown out of the camp in recent days.
While he has been spared the votes, Fred has also lost out on being voted in by the people for any trials, with Nigel Farage and Tony Bellew taking their place.
On Monday’s programme, however, the maitre’d eventually put his foot down and offered himself to take on the next task.
Before anyone else could speak another word or make a collective decision, Fred stepped up and stated, ‘I will go.’
‘I haven’t done one yet so I’m going,’ he continued.

‘I’m going to go, I want to go because I’m going to do my best and bring the stars and bring dinner back home,’ he went on, saying there was no need for anyone else to stand up and suggest themselves.
‘That’s the decision, if everyone agrees that I’m going then we’re done.’
Speaking in the bush telegraph, soaps star Nick Pickard said: ‘I don’t think Fred is having anyone else do it today, from his perspective it’s like he’s not done anything, but doing the trials is your way of really contributing to the group, and he’s grabbed the bull by both horns.’
While Marvin Humes also put his name forward, Fred had made his intentions clear and urged: ‘Look, can I just say, this camp has been very equal, it’s only fair I go, so if you want me to go just say, can you vote for me? I am delighted, thank you.’

As Marvin’s suggested was snubbed by Fred, Tony added: ‘Fred’s been wanting to prove himself for a while now.’
And viewers seem to have worked out his game plan, with one saying: ‘I knew Fred was p****d about not being chosen for the trial yesterday. He’s desperate to get some more screen time, especially as he’s not camp chef.’
Another wrote: ‘i honestly think fred is worried about getting voted off, frankie left bc of not having screen time and i think he’s worried.’
‘Fred gunning for that twenty five per cent of screen time,’ someone else penned.

Others supported Fred in opting to do the trial, with one saying: ‘Surely most people would be happy if someone volunteered for a trial. It’s just because it’s Fred that said he wants to do it.’
Someone else echoed: ‘Fred has the one thing he was doing to help the camp taken from him. Just let him do a trial and feel he’s contributing.’
In other news, Nick’s girlfriend Sarah reacted angrily to claims that he’s playing a game.
‘I don’t know whether some people would assume he has a game plan, and that was his entire game, but he’s totally not,’ she told Lorraine Kelly on Tuesday.

‘He’s just being completely himself.’
She went on to say that he seems calm on the programme because he isn’t competing for attention, and that he’ll ‘be getting along and having a good laugh with everyone’.
Despite amassing nearly a full house of stars, Fred was later accused of “making [Nella’s] life hell.”
After their huge falling out just days into filming, Nella seethed: ‘‘Fred has been making my life hell for a long time and I’ve been trying to keep my mouth shut and I feel like karma is a b***h.’

The comment came as a shock to some viewers, with one writing: ‘Was Fred making Nella’s life hell when he was keeping her fed? Or when he was supporting her through trials? Make it make sense.’
Another said: ‘I hate Nella biting but cannot see how Fred has made her life hell. That is a strong statement, although they have had their disagreements.’
‘HOW HAS FRED MADE YOUR LIFE HELL NELLA?’ enquired a third person.
