Zara Lackenby-Brown has her eyes set on a new love interest after only a few days on the Love Island 2023 villa.
The 25-year-old made an immediate impression on Tom Clare after making her winter series debut, competing head-to-head with Olivia Hawkins, 27.
Zara, who picked Tom, 23, in the recoupling ceremony, had a brief fling with Shaq Muhammad, 24, the other day after they bonded over their shared London roots.
Winter Love Island’s new Australian bombshell Aaron Waters, 26, caught her eye on Wednesday’s show, and it looks like her head may be spinning once again.
Tonight, at the gym, former Love Island Australia candidate Aaron will approach Zara and ask if she would be interested in getting to know him.
‘I am yeah, I think we get on really well,’ she replies, as Aaron agrees by stating: ‘Yeah I think so too.’
Zara explains that, outside of the villa, he is the type of guy she would consider dating.
‘I don’t know if I’ve told you, but on the outside you’re more my type, looks-wise, that I go for and what I’ve gone for in the past,’ she tells him.
He replies: ‘I think you’ve surprised me most out of everyone, obviously you’re very attractive.’
Maybe there’s more to it than just chemistry between them.
Tonight’s episode will get off with a dramatic double dumping, as Aaron and fellow Australian newbie Jessie Wynter will have to make the heartbreaking decision of sending home one boy and one girl.
Will Tom, Haris Namani, Kai Fagan, Tanyel Revan, Tanya Mahenga, and Anna-May Robey be spared from the island’s elimination?
Jessie, 26, tells Aaron, in private, that she is “so nervous” about the decision they must make.
‘So am I, I’ve got no idea, I don’t even know where to start,’ he responds.
Aaron says, ‘I know, I actually like all of the guys, but you can’t think like that,’ when Jessie says she doesn’t know which male to chose because “he’s one of my best pals in here.”
They’ll be starting the programme on a sad note with the elimination, but the candidates will be treated to a ’90s themed party later on, much to their delight.
The usual unexpected SMS is going to pop up and ruin the party, so they can’t relax too much. Then what does this signify?
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
