Karen Hauer, a Strictly Come Dancing pro, appeared depressed on the week 4 results show following her alleged marriage split.
Karen, the longest-serving pro on the BBC dance programme, is said to have split up with her husband Jordan Wyn-Jones after a year of marriage.
Karen, 41, was scheduled to appear on TV screens with celebrity boyfriend Eddie Kadi, 40, on Saturday night (October 14).
However, suspicions were raised earlier in the week when the choreographer graced the Pride of Britain Awards red carpet without her wedding band on her finger.
Karen and Jordan, her third husband following marriages to exes Matthew Hauer and Kevin Clifton, were said to be having a ‘difficult time,’ according to a source.
They told The Mirror: ‘Karen and Jordan have had a tough time in the past few months and decided to split.
‘It’s obviously very sad for both of them. But there’s no ill will whatsoever.’
Sadly, Karen suffered another blow this week when she and comedian Eddie found themselves in the dreaded dance-off but, thankfully, they survived to dance another week, as Paralympian Jody Cundy was eliminated.
She seemed ‘keen to get the show over.’
Earlier this year, Karen shared that she and apparently estranged husband Jordan had been going to counselling.
She told Hello! Magazine: ‘Counselling. You know what? I think communication is massive, but learning how to communicate, you know, so we get outside help.
‘So whenever we’re having tricky moments or anything like that, it’s just seeing the vulnerable side of each other and understanding it and knowing that both of us are working on things because nobody is perfect.
‘There is no such thing as a happy marriage or a happy relationship with the perfect couple.
‘It’s about dealing with things the right way and not just running away from things, and I guess that’s what makes us tick even better and understand one another.’
Karen, a Venezuelan dancer, married Jordan in the Hampshire countryside in 2022, with fellow Strictly stars Janette Manrara and Luba Mushtuk as bridesmaids.
Karen described her wedding at Chewton Glen, a beautiful country estate, as ‘exactly what we had envisioned.’
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday on BBC One and iPlayer.
