An revelation regarding Jennifer Coolidge’s role in American Pie has shocked moviegoers, and everyone feels ‘attacked’.
The bawdy comedy premiered in July 1999, featuring a bunch of horny adolescents excitedly hoping to lose their virginities on prom night before graduating from high school.
Jason Biggs starred as Jim, with Eugene Levy, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Seann William Scott, Shannon Elizabeth, Mena Suvari, and Tara Reid also appearing.
Jennifer portrayed the first MILF Jeanie ‘Stifler’s Mom’. Stifler, the intriguing, much older woman who captivated everyone’s attention, finally slept with Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas).
In recent years, she has experienced a revival in Hollywood, scoring scene-stealing roles in The White Lotus, The Watcher, and Shotgun Wedding – but it turns out that her character wasn’t that elderly in the original.
Phil Clifton sent us all into meltdown when he took to Twitter to drop a massive bombshell, penning: ‘Hey millennials, did you know that the American Pie character Stifler’s mom, aka Jennifer Coolidge, was actually the grand age of *drum roll* …thirty-eight.

‘Have a great day.’
Having absolutely none of it, a social media fan known as Jerm replied: ‘Didn’t think I’d get attacked this early in the morning.’
Joel agreed: ‘As a 38 year old I did not need to hear this today.’
As Timbo added: ‘This is the most attacked I have ever felt.’
Honestly, hard same.
Jennifer previously made waves when she revealed the legendary role, revealing that she slept with 200 people after the film.
‘I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie,’ she told Variety. ‘There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.’
However, in a subsequent interview with buddy Ariana Grande for Entertainment Weekly, she conceded that the figure was clearly ‘exaggerated’.
‘I would love to say that was true, but I mean, that was sort of an exaggeration, so I’m glad you’re asking me,’ she added.
‘I did say that jokingly and, God, you really can’t make jokes in our town, because I did make the terrible mistake of saying, “Thank God for that movie, I got to sleep with 200 men,” or whatever.
‘And look, I would love to say that was true, but that was sort of an exaggeration so I’m glad you’re asking me!’
