If Beyonce thought dropping the Renaissance album was enough to satisfy fans after a six-year absence, she was sorely mistaken as many are now wondering: ‘Where are the music videos?’
Queen Bey, 41, dropped her long-awaited seventh studio album on July 29 featuring a gorgeous collection of dance bops such as Alien Superstar, Energy, Cuff It, the infectious lead single Break My Soul and, well, basically all of it.
Listeners have pretty much dreamt up the disco-themed music videos for each song and a source recently teased that some of the visuals would be inspired by the 90s supermodel era.
Yet, Beyonce is yet to deliver a single music video.
Even Break My Soul, which debuted way back on June 20, is yet to receive its official visuals with fans only treated to a ‘visualizer’ on YouTube.
It’s possible that Beyonce, ever the perfectionist, is still finalising the video rollout, or maybe she wanted to simply enjoy her summer holiday before getting back to work.
However, it’s also possible that the singer, renowned for dropping ‘visual albums’, will forgo accompanying the Renaissance songs with any kind of video at all.
Nonetheless, fans are hungry for the new era of Beyonce visuals and are respectfully calling out their queen on social media.
‘No, DEADASS!!!! Beyoncé, where are the #RENAISSANCE visuals???!’ one fan demanded to know.
Tweeting on Beyonce’s birthday on September 4, another added: ‘@beyonce happy birthday where’s the visuals.’
Another joked: ‘Since September 4th is gone, back to normal… WHERE ARE THE VISUALS, BEYONCÉ?!!!!!! Stop playing with our feeling and patience and do something.’
Keen to give Beyonce a helping hand, one said: ‘You know how much choreography and various video treatments I have already created In My mind?! Where are the official visuals!’
‘So where’s the visuals for Renaissance @Beyonce????? Cuz I’m not about to play with you any longer!!’ one fan weighed in on Twitter.
Another member of the Beyhive almost used the singer’s full Government name and wrote: ‘Where are the full visuals, giselle @Beyonce.’
