Celebs On The Farm has apparently been ‘put out to pasture’ barely two years after switching from Channel 5 to MTV.
The reality show followed an intrepid group of celebrities as they were put through their paces on a farm, mucking out, completing duties, and managing cows, lambs, alpacas, and chickens.
The inaugural season, which premiered in 2018, features Gogglebox’s Sandi Bogle and Louie Spence, with Strictly Come Dancing‘s Gleb Savchenko ultimately winning.
The following two seasons of Celebs On The Farm featured James Argent, Megan McKenna, Lady C, and Kerry Katona, with host Stephen Bailey providing entertaining commentary on all of their shenanigans.
Nevertheless, it has been claimed that the agricultural series has been axed owing to low ratings and high expenditures.
A source told The Sun: ‘Celebs On The Farm had a good run but now it’s been put out to pasture.

‘Fans of the show will be gutted as Stephen and farmer Chris became really popular on the show.
‘The last series didn’t bring in the viewing figures telly bosses hoped for and it’s not a cheap series to make.
‘It has been axed for now and there won’t be a fourth series airing on MTV.’

Malique Thompson-Dwyer, who featured in the previous season, recently told Metro.co.uk that he only agreed to take part because he needed the money.
‘I was just taking jobs as they come because obviously work had slowed right down,’ he told us.
‘So, be completely honest, this job came along and I thought I need the money.’
‘What I wasn’t expecting was it to be such a good time,’ he added.
‘I wasn’t expecting it to be as amazing as it wasn’t I wasn’t expecting to meet so many amazing people.’
