If recent statements from Jeremy Clarkson’s fiancée provide any indication, fans of Clarkson’s Farm may be about to get their dream.
The Amazon series premiered in 2021 and has since followed the former Top Gear host’s efforts to operate Diddly Squat, a 1,000-acre farm in the Cotswolds.
Fans were concerned that the programme may never return when Clarkson, 63, said that he was considering selling his greatest item owing to increasing expenses.
Furthermore, Amazon executives were allegedly upset when the Grand Tour host’s pessimistic views on Meghan Markle enraged the audience.
However, it appears that such suspicions were unfounded, since Clarkson’s fiancée Lisa Hogan has supposedly confirmed that preparations for a fourth season are in the works.
The third season of the programme is nearing completion, with Hogan stating last week that they were in the ‘penultimate week’ of filming.
Hogan rushed to Instagram to share a snapshot of the filming team, captioning the image with the announcement that there was just one week remaining.
A fan of the show asked: ‘Hopefully not the penultimate week of the penultimate season?’ Her response? ‘Nope.’
Her statements suggest that not only is a fourth season planned, but Clarkson’s farm may continue to air for many years to come.
When asked if season four was already in the works, Hogan, 50, responded with a ‘OK’ emoji, signifying good news for fans.
The series was given the ‘green light’ to continue in September, with Deadline claiming that Amazon was close to reaching an agreement.
Season three is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
Clarkson, on the other hand, teased viewers with ‘great news’ regarding the farm and series, subsequently revealing the ‘news’ to be the birth of a dozen piglets.
His second Amazon series, The Grand Tour, which he co-created with Richard Hammond and James May, is also slated to return, with the trio recently posing for a reunion photo.
Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
