After Maya Jama left BBC Three’s Glow Up to join ITV’s Love Island, her successor, Leomie Anderson, was formally announced.
The 28-year-old host, who replaced Stacey Dooley after two seasons, reportedly quit the show last week.
Supermodel Leomie, age 29, has been announced as the third host of Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, and she is ecstatic about the opportunity.
Because it’s such a fantastic programme, I’m thrilled to be hosting Glow Up. Seeing the work of the MUAs who have worked there before in person is a dream come true for me. her words
‘I am so excited to be joining Glow Up as the host as it’s such an incredible show! I have always been a huge fan and admire all the MUAs work who have been in there previously so to see it in real life is amazing!’ she said.
‘I can’t wait to work alongside the fabulous Val and Dom in a completely new territory too outside of modelling and get truly stuck in!’
Leomie, who’s modelled for brands including Giorgio Armani, Burberry and Oscar de la Renta, will make her debut when the fifth series airs later this year.

Maya was praised by BBC Three controller Fiona Campbell, who said of her that she will “always remain a part of the family” at Glow Up.
‘I am thrilled that Leomie Anderson will be taking the reins as the new host of Glow Up. With her flair for modelling and fashion, I can’t wait to see her expertise in action!’ she said.
‘I also would like to thank our previous host the magnificent Maya Jama, we will miss her of course but she will always be a part of the Glow Up family.’
Makeup artist Val Garland and Mac Cosmetics UK’s global senior artist Dominic Skinner will both be returning as judges for the fifth series when it airs later this year on BBC Three.
Maya’s resignation from Glow Up followed the announcement in October that she will be replacing Anna Friel as presenter of Love Island.
Following the announcement that she will replace Laura Whitmore, she said:‘I’ve always been such a massive Love Island fan and I’m so excited to be hosting one of the nation’s favourite shows!”
‘I can’t wait to get into the villa to meet all of the islanders.’
The first four series of Glow Up are available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
