The pop star Madonna gave her take on Wednesday’s trending dance and posted it on TikTok. Naturally, her followers are completely enamoured with it.
After the premiere of the first season, Wednesday’s (Jenna Ortega) solo routine at the Rave’N school dance, which Jenna choreographed, went viral on social media, igniting a viral TikTok trend that even Lady Gaga got involved with by performing it to her own 2011 track Bloody Mary. Wednesday’s solo routine was performed by Jenna Ortega.
The Queen of Pop was the latest A-lister to participate in the movement when she appeared in her most recent music video. She paid respect to Wednesday Addams’s gothic aesthetic by wearing a black corset and voluminous jacket sleeves.
After the epic feud that took place between the Vogue hitmaker, 54, and Gaga, who’s true name is Stefani Germanotta, fans have been waiting for this moment and are hoping that a cheeky collaboration is on the way.
‘NOT MADONNA STANNING GAGA YASSS,’ one person enthused.
‘GAGADONNA IS REAL,’ another added.
‘Madonna X Gaga is gonna happen soon, I can feel it in my bones,’ another manifested.
When asked about the legendary moment, the leading woman Jenna, who is 20, revealed that at first she felt like a “fool” owing to the fact that she had no previous experience dancing.
‘I didn’t sleep for two days,’ she told Jimmy Fallon.
‘I watched videos of Siouxsie and the Banshees…I found archival footage of Goth kids dancing in clubs in the 80s …just anything that I could get my hands on. And then on the day, I thought,” Alright, well, I’m just gonna do it.”

Jimmy, 48, asked: ‘Did you just go super long? Did you do it like a 20-minute dance? Or step by step is this is exactly what you planned?’
The Jane The Virgin actress replied: ‘No, I knew there were certain things that I want to do. I paid homage to Lisa Loring, the first Wednesday Addams, I did a little bit of her shuffle that she does. And of course, they cut out of camera when I did do it. But it’s there – I know it is.’
The performer from Stuck in the Middle also said that she had no clue that the dance would become viral, despite the fact that Netflix executives had told her about it.
She continued: ‘Netflix were telling me, “Oh, you know, Jenna, this is gonna be a thing on TikTok’.
‘And I thought, yeah, ok ok ok. Because I figured they’re excited, they’re getting hyped up – and then they were right.’
Wednesday is available to stream on Netflix.
