Phillip Schofield has admitted that he was wrong about his forecast on who would win the title of champion of Dancing on Ice in 2023.
The anchor of This Morning, who is 60 years old, co-hosts the hit shows on ITV with her longtime friend Holly Willoughby, who is 41. The panel of judges also includes Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo.
This season, celebrities like Joey Essex from “Towie” and Ekin-Su Cülcülolu from “Love Island” have been performing on the ice skating rink in an effort to win over the judges.
After performing to Norman Greenbaum’s “Spirit in the Sky,” former footballer John Fashanu was the first celebrity to be eliminated from the strenuous competition series.
Following her performance on Sunday to the song “All That Jazz from Chicago,” vocalist Michelle Heaton of the band Liberty X became the second artist to be removed from the competition.
On Thursday’s episode of This Morning, Diversity dancer Ashley, who is 34 years old, made an appearance and discussed the series with Phil and Holly.

Ashley admitted that despite his belief that the competition on Dancing on Ice 2023 was “genuinely wide open,” he did have a preference for one contestant above the others.
However, in order to maintain his “neutral” stance, he declined to reveal who they were. He did, however, mention that he, Holly, and Phil had made predictions before the beginning of the season.
Holly’s response to the outcome of her wager was exactly the opposite of Phil’s, as she exclaimed with pleasure that she was “very happy” with it.
Phil shook his head and remarked that his forecast had been a “absolute mess,” thus it is reasonable to conclude that he will not win the bet despite his best efforts.
Despite the fact that the competition has just begun, this season of Dancing on Ice has already seen a number of injuries. Skater Sylvain Longchambon had to have his chin glued together after it was broken after a fall on the ice.
In addition, Judge Christopher Dean fractured his finger while trying a risky lift, while The Wanted vocalist Siva Kaneswaran suffered a concussion after experiencing a major fall in the days leading up to the premiere of the competition.
Later on, he disclosed that after touching the back of his head, he believed he was ‘broken,’ but the medical professionals convinced him that he would be OK.
After cutting his forearm open on his companion Tippy Packard’s blade, comedian Darren Herriot also needed to get it stitched back together so he could continue performing.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
