Tonight’s episode of the BBC’s renowned reality show The Apprentice features Sir Alan Sugar looking for yet another expert to partner with.
Season 17 of the show is currently in full swing, with 18 brand new candidates competing for a £250,000 investment from the CEO himself.
Things got underway last week on the beautiful Caribbean island of Antigua, with Baroness Karren Brady and Claude Littner in charge. Both teams were entrusted with marketing and running custom tours – and one candidate was kicked out of the boardroom.
Tweeting along with the show, Lord Sugar himself commented: ‘On the island of Antigua, I heard they tried to sell tickets to the high commissioner.
‘It’s like trying to sell someone his own home. If anyone knows the island he does.’
However, the competition is far from done, and the applicants will be pressed to impress and demonstrate their business skills once more in this week’s challenge.
So, when does the show air tonight, and what are the candidates facing?
Everything you need to know is right here.
What time is The Apprentice on tonight?
The Apprentice airs on Thursday nights at 9pm on BBC One.
Episodes are then available to stream after they have aired on BBC iPlayer.
If you fancy starring in the show, applications are already being taken for series 18, and Alan Sugar has talked of his ambition to get to an incredible 20 series of the hit show.
What is the next task on The Apprentice?
Candidates will experience a sharp contrast to last week’s tourism assignment in tonight’s programme.
The remaining 17 contenders will be tasked with producing bao buns, an Asian recipe for stuffing wrapped in a sweet, white dough that will be sold to both the general public and corporate clientele.
However, the episode synopsis warns that “kitchen explosions and a maths meltdown” will lead to a grilling in the boardroom and, as always, one of the candidates will hear Lord Sugar’s infamous catchphrase at the end of the episode – and leave the show for good.
The Apprentice airs Thursday nights at 9pm on BBC One. Catch-up with the series so far on BBC iPlayer.
