Chrissy Teigen took daughter Luna for a sweet treat after she got her second Covid-19 vaccine.
The author, 36, couldn’t hide her pride at the five-year-old – who she shares with husband John Legend – for being a ‘big girl’ after getting jabbed for the second time.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a sweet video the youngster smiling widely as she clutched a huge ice cream cone.
Alongside the brief clip, Chrissy penned: ‘Second shot queeeeen! Go big girl go big girl go!’
Fans couldn’t get over the footage, and flooded the comments with praise.
A follower said: ‘You are an AMAZING mom! You can tell that she made you so proud getting that 2nd jab!’
‘She’s sooo cuteee,’ another agreed.
An Instagram user replied: ‘Luna is a little doll and that ice cream cone looks yummy!’
‘Cutie pie! Vaccines get ice cream rewards at our house too,’ one added.
John shared the same upload of Luna’s treat on his own page, with the caption: ‘Took my big girl to ice cream to celebrate her 2nd shot.’
President Joe Biden recently announced plans to roll out vaccinations for children aged five to 11 in the US, after officials indicated that there were Pfizer doses secured to inoculate all 28million children in that age group.
‘Today the Biden Administration is announcing a plan to ensure that, if a vaccine is authorized for children ages 5-11, it is quickly distributed and made conveniently and equitably available to families across the country,’ the White House confirmed.
Biden also said: ‘I know parents out there are anxiously waiting for a vaccine for children ages 5 to 11.
‘If authorized, we are ready. We have purchased enough vaccines for all children between the ages of 5 and 11 in the United States.
‘It will be – it will be convenient for parents to get their children vaccinated at trusted locations, and families will be able to sleep easier at night knowing their kids are protected as well.’
