Hearts are still well and truly melting after Perrie Edwards delighted fans by sharing an adorable video of her baby son Axel trying to walk.
The Little Mix star, 28, is raising her son Axel, four months old, with partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
She gave birth to baby Axel in August 2021, around the same time fellow Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock welcomed twins with fiancé Andre Gray.
Little Mix recently left fans broken-hearted as they confirmed they would be taking a break from the band following this tour – though insisted they were not splitting up.
Since then, and before the tour takes them across the UK, the singers have been updating fans on their lives at home.
Earlier this week Perrie took to her Instagram stories where she shared adorable footage of son Axel appearing to get some practice in before he learns to walk and, well, we’re still not over it.
In the video, the four-month-old’s feet can be seen taking – excuse the pun – baby steps, as Christmas music blares in the background.
Axel, dressed in a festive onesie, almost appears to be dancing to Sir Elton John’s Step Into Christmas in the cute video ahead of his first-ever Christmas.
The camera then pans up to show Perrie’s hands holding her baby and helping him to take his first steps.
As the camera zoomed up into Axel’s face, the youngster gives an adorable, happy smile.
Fans continue to react to the adorable clip online, with one writing on Twitter: ‘The amount of times I’ve replayed this today is unhealthy he’s too adorable.’
Another noticed the stockings in the background and added: ‘I don’t know what’s cuter, baby axel or all the socks with their names “pez”.’
Perrie, Leigh-Anne and third bandmate Jade Thirlwall recently admitted that they have some regrets in their 10-year career, particularly that Little Mix never broke America.
However Jade said it is amazing that their friendship has lasted for over a decade, describing them – and former bandmate Jesy Nelson – as ‘family’.
It was this friendship and love for each other that Little Mix admitted they were ‘terribly emotional’ about announcing their split.
Opening up on the Graham Norton show, Jade said: ‘It’s been 10 incredible years and we always said if we’re going to take a little break it would be on an incredible high, at our peak, so it seems like the right time.
‘We are family and love each other to bits so what’s lovely is that whatever we go off and do we can support each other through it and celebrate each other – it’s a lovely way to do it.’
