Is Vicky McClure underneath the Llama costume on The Masked Dancer? (Picture: ITV/Rex)
The Masked Dancer fans are convinced that Vicky McClure is Llama and the Line Of Duty star is fanning the flames.
Last night’s episode of the new ITV show welcomed Beetroot, Llama, Zip, Knickerbocker Glory, and Scarecrow to the stage, with Burlesque star Dita Von Teese becoming the latest celebrity to be eliminated.
Llama first performed on the programme on Saturday but new clues for the character left audiences guessing that Kate Fleming actress Vicky is under the guise.
During the hints at Llama’s identity, a fan was spotted with AC-12 written on it, the name of the team on the acclaimed BBC One drama.
Another one of the clues in the two lies and a truth stated: ‘I am a Northern drama queen’, which is fitting as Vicky hails from Nottingham.
While viewers were quick to share their theories on social media, Vicky also got in on the action.

‘Been an aLLAMaingly hot day!’ she wrote on Twitter.
But is Vicky’s post simply a red-herring?
So far, other clues for Llama include that they’re a country girl at heart, they swear and have a reputation, they like keeping active and eating greens and they’re the director of their own costume drama.
Following last night’s show, latest eliminated star Dita said she was nervous about signing up for the show.
‘My dance experience is limited to ballet, and social dances from the 1930s and 40s, and, of course, striptease,’ she confessed.
‘I never expected to go far in the competition but I knew it would be difficult for them to guess me and I knew I’d be unique.’
Singer Louise Redknapp and Diversity star Jordan Banjo were previously unmasked.
