The presenting duo kick things off with a mix of Bucks Fizz and Negroni drinks as they keep the nation company on the big day.
Josie Gibson is then on hand to deliver some alternative festive games with Phil, Holly, and Gino D’Acampo all taking part, including one where the foursome are seen squatting over a bottle to see who could get a pen inside and a toy car shot drinking game.
Of course the booze doesn’t stop there though as chefClodagh McKenna delivers a cocktail masterclass.
‘I make this cocktail every single year and it will definitely give you a kick for Christmas!’ she tells them.
The This Morning Christmas special will get off to a bit of an awkward start though when Aled Jones appears thinking he was booked to open the show.
When asked what he’s doing there, Aled replies: ‘I’ve come to get the Christmas show on the road. It’s taken loads of rehearsal but I’m ready to bring – wait for it -Walking In the Air back especially for you two.’
Before the track can fully kick in Phillip tells him: ‘Um, Aled, I’m sorry, there’s a possibility we might have to stop there for a second… I’m sorry, but we’ve actually booked Leona Lewis! Someone should’ve told you.’
Trying hard not to laugh, Aled hits back: ‘So you don’t need me? Maybe I’ll just go back here and carry on rehearsing… you never know…’
Elsewhere on tomorrow’s show, there will be two exclusive performances from Leona Lewis, while Alison Hammond hand delivers a big surprise for one special viewer and Joel Dommett shares exciting news ahead of the new Masked Singer.
This Morning’s Christmas Day show airs tomorrow at 10am on ITV.
