Adam Thomas has treated fans to probably the cutest thing they’ll see all lockdown – his six-year-old son Teddy dressed up as Captain Sir Tom Moore.

The former I’m A Celebrity star explained his wife Caroline had settled on the costume idea for Teddy as part of his school’s History Day celebrations, that saw all the kids dress up for the occasion.

Wanting to pick somebody who is both important and pretty apt for right now, they settled on Captain Tom, who found fame during the first national lockdown by raising over £32million for the NHS.

The war veteran vowed to walk 100 laps around his garden before his 100th birthday and had set himself a goal of raising £1000 while doing so.

It’s fair to say he knocked it out the park, with Captain Tom becoming a celebrity overnight and later knighted at Windsor Castle in July for his incredible efforts.

Wanting to pay tribute to him, little Teddy transformed into Captain Tom, war medals, zimmer frame and all, and is now taking on his own challenge for charity.

Adam shared pictures of Teddy all dressed up and it’s undeniably one of the cutest things we’ve ever seen.

Dressed in a suit and striped tie, Teddy is seen wearing medals on his blazer and glasses, while sporting slicked grey hair and eyebrows and a moustache to match.

He even had wrinkles drawn across his forehead and was kitted out with an inflatable zimmer frame that had a 100 balloon attached to it.

Adam captioned his adorable post: ‘Sir Captain Tom Moore!! When teddy has world history day at school ??? @captaintomoore smashed it with this one babe haha @carolinethomas23 help Teddy raise £100 link in bio ?.’

Teddy, inspired by his alter-go, decided that he too wants to follow in Captain Tom’s footsteps and take on his own challenge of carrying out 100 laps of his garden to raise money for those who have suffered as a result of Covid-19.

The youngster has set himself a target of raising £100, but has already smashed his goal and raised £1348 before completing his challenge on Saturday.

Fans were loving Teddy’s work, with many of Adam’s celebrity pals, including Mark Wright, Fleur East, Kimberley Walsh and Denise Lewis, commenting on how ‘amazing’ his little boy and his costume is.

Teddy is Adam and Caroline’s eldest child. The couple, who married in 2017, are also parents to daughter Elsie, two.

It comes after fans recently watched Adam row to victory on ITV’s new show Don’t Rock The Boat, that saw two teams of celebrities go head-to-head to row the length of Britain.

His team, the red team, was headed up by former X Factor star Fleur who dedicated their win to her late dad: ‘I was rowing for my dad, and every stoke was for him, honestly it wasn’t even about this race, it was for him, and it means so much to me, so thank you.’
