Ashley Cain ‘doesn’t know what he’ll do’ without his daughter Azaylia, who has been given just a few days to live.
The reality star yesterday shared the news that his eight-month-old daughter may only have days left to live after more tumours were found in the baby’s brain and stomach in her battle against leukaemia.
Ashley, 30, shared pictures and videos of Azaylia enjoying her last bath in hospital before he and girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee took her home.
In the pictures, the baby could be seen smiling in the bath while playing with a ball held by her dad.
Ashley wrote: ‘Azaylia’s last bath in hospital, before we take her home where she belongs. ?❤️????
‘9 days ago consultants told us my daughter had 1-2 days to live, but thought she may pass that evening. Even with a barbaric disease consuming her blood, tumours in her brain and organs and amounts of pain I cannot imagine… She is still battling through 9 days later, with parts of the day with nothing but smiles despite her discomfort. ?
‘This is a testament of this little girls strength and the fight she has possessed all of the way through. She has fought a battle that not many, if any, of us could have endured and she’s earned the love and respect of many on the way. The truth is though, I hope and pray that I have earned hers! Even through the hardest and saddest time of my life, she has found a way to make it better. She has shined light on the darkest of days and she has opened my heart to amounts of love I couldn’t believe possible! ❤️’
The Ex on the Beach star continued: ‘The truth is, I don’t know what I will do without you. But for now, I find strength in giving you the best of me, and the only me that you deserve! ❤️
‘You are in my arms, my thoughts, my prayers and my heart everyday my princess. YOU’RE MY HERO! ✊? DADDY LOVES YOU!’
Ashley also posted a video to his Instagram stories showing him playing with his daughter.
Fans and friends shared their sympathies in the comments section, with social media star Mrs Hinch writing: ‘An amazing beautiful little darling with the most inspirational parents ❤️❤️ a true family, always.’
Azaylia was diagnosed with leukaemia at just two months old, with Ashley telling fans that his daughter had ‘a very rare and aggressive form’ of cancer in October.

In February, just moments before the baby was due to leave the hospital after a stem cell transplantation, the family was informed Azaylia’s leukaemia had returned.
With the help of fans and friends, £1million was raised to fund vital CAR T-cell treatment in Singapore that Ashley and Safiyya hoped would save their daughter’s life.
However, the results of a CT scan showed that Azaylia had two tumours on her brain, as well as tumours in her stomach, spleen, lungs and kidneys, and she can no longer undergo the treatment in Singapore.
Ashley explained: ‘We had a scan yesterday and the results came back today that they found tumours in her stomach and spleen, her lungs and her kidneys as well as the tumours in her brain and the chemotherapy is not working.
‘Her disease is that aggressive that nothing that they are doing, nothing is working. And then to make it worse, consultants got an email from Singapore and because Azaylia is one in a trillion – she literally is, she’s so special – but unfortunately so is her disease, so in Singapore they can’t create what they need to treat her leukaemia.’Credit: Original article published here.
