Britney Spears unveiled her favourite tattoo in a new Instagram post, showing off a Hebrew inking on the back of her neck.

The Toxic singer, 39, has several etchings on her body, including two tiny pink dice on her left wrist that she was contemplating getting removed last year.

The mum-of-two has given fans a glimpse of the design she likes the most, while also showing off her incredible tan in a bright pink swimsuit.

Alongside the snap, which showed her posing with her hair up so we could clearly see the etching, she wrote: ‘Hot pink makes my tan pop!!!! Have you seen the tattoo on the back of my neck before????

‘It’s Hebrew, it’s a language written backwards!!!! It says Mem Hey Shin and means healing!!!!

‘It’s my favourite tattoo but ironically you never see it!!!!!’

Britney might also have a new favourite swimsuit on her hands, as she also uploaded a video of her dancing around in the same hot pink outfit three days ago, insisting: ‘PINK is the new RED!!!!!’

The Baby One More Time star’s wellbeing has been under the spotlight over the last few months, following the release of the documentary Framing Britney Spears.

The programme explored her meteoric rise to fame and the sexism she faced in the music industry, as well as her controversial legal battles and conservatorship.

Britney made a rare statement about the speculation on Instagram, attempting to shut down the scrutiny from documentary-makers.

She told fans: ‘2021 is definitely way better than 2020 but I never knew it was gonna be like THIS!!!! So many documentaries about me this year with other people’s takes on my life … what can I say … I’m deeply flattered!!!!

‘These documentaries are so hypocritical … they criticise the media and then do the same thing????? Damn … I don’t know y’all but I’m thrilled to remind you all that although I’ve had some pretty tough times in my life …

‘I’ve had waaaayyyy more amazing times in my life and unfortunately my friends … I think the world is more interested in the negative!!!!’

She added: ‘‘I mean … isn’t this supposed to be a business and society about THE FUTURE???? Why highlight the most negative and traumatising times in my life from forever ago ???? I mean DAMN.’
