While the images of Cara Delevingne and then-girlfriend Ashley Benson carrying a sex bench into their house might have been entertaining, the real-life fall-out of the photos was far from.
In need of a refresher? In 2019 the pair were snapped giggling away as they carried the Master Series Faux Leather Sex Bench into their house in Hollywood. Not in any way embarrassed about their purchase (not that they should be), Cara previously insisted the moment wasn’t a photo op crafted for optimum attention.
In fact, the model and actor was actually forced to move house due to the unwanted attention that soon descended on her house.
Recalling the time to Cosmopolitan, the cover girl – who noted the bench was ‘heavy’ said for the magazine’s July issue: ‘The picture is hysterical.’
But she said they led to security concerns, with the front of her house identifiable, and prone to break-ins (with the star previously upping security).
According to the publication, Cara was forced to move out.
And to think, a sex bench was at the centre of that.
Images of how the £360 bench is meant to be used were plastered all over the box Cara and Ashley carried, including taglines like ‘Ergonomically designed for deeper penetration!’, ‘Perfect for a spanking punishment!’, ‘Punish and restrain as you see fit…’ and ‘Bondage: with or without straps!’.
And despite the decision to move house, the star – who has her own range of vibrators – is hardly put off displaying all the sex toys she can, telling the publication: ‘I will walk out with many sex benches as a means to continue doing what I do.’
While the images of the sex bench may live on in our hearts, Cara and Ashley ended up splitting after two years of dating.

Elsewhere in her chat with Cosmo the model opened up on her exes, insisting there are no hard feelings and she wants to ‘see them happy.’
She said: ‘I don’t feel like I’ve ever left a relationship so f**ked up that it’s been like, “I never want to speak to that person again”.
‘I just love all the people I was ever with and want the best for them, you know what I mean? I want to see them grow, see them happy.’
