David Walliams and Matt Lucas have thrilled fans with a rare photo of the two of them – and things have definitely changed over the years.
The iconic pair, who are best known for shows like Little Britain, got together for David’s 50th birthday, snapping a sweet photo.
Posing together with a birthday cake, the pair, who were suited and booted, grinned away.
David simply wrote in the caption: ‘I am now the chubby one. @realmattlucas’.
Matt, 47, also shared the photo, adding in his caption: ‘Happy 50th birthday to my dear friend @dwalliams. So lovely to celebrate with you xxx’.
It seems the Britain’s Got Talent judge gathered his nearest and dearest for a meal, with the star also snapping a cute photo with his mum.
Fans were thrilled to see the pair catching up, with one writing: ‘Two of my favourites. Happy Birthday David,’ while another couldn’t resist a Little Britain reference, adding: ‘Computer says Happy 50th Birthday, to you David! ‘
It seems the pair are well and truly back to their best after a string of bitter rows left them not speaking for years.
They have been open about their feud, which saw their relationship break down in 2011 after they filmed Come Fly With Me.
They didn’t speak for almost a decade, before working together again in 2019 on Little Britain spin-off Little Brexit which was broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

David and Matt also worked together again last year for the BBC’s Big Night In amid the Covid-19 pandemic, and were also spotted enjoying a catch-up last year during the lockdown.
The duo enjoyed a dog walk together, after it was rumoured that they were set to work together once again.
In June 2019, David told The Sun: ‘It has been great seeing much more of Matt. He is spending more time in the UK, so it has been a lot easier to see each other.
‘We hope to do something together in the near future, but there is no immediate plan.’
With the pair’s relationship clearly very much back on track, who knows what the future could hold?
