Holly Willoughby headed out with her son to grab some fresh air and a coffee to go, after being forced to miss This Morning last week.

The presenter, 39, had missed two broadcasts of the ITV show and fans were left quizzing where Holly was after her noticeable absence.

Holly later revealed that she took time off work as two of her three children had fallen ill with coronavirus symptoms, but it’s since been confirmed she’ll be returning to host This Morning with Phillip Schofield once again on Monday.

She was spotted for the first time since taking time off on Saturday, as she headed out with her eldest son Harry, 11.

Enjoying a pretty autumnal walk, Holly looked relaxed and in good spirits as she strolled alongside Harry, with the pair deep in conversation.

She was casually dressed, but still as stylish as ever, in lace-up boots, leather gloves and a khaki green wax jacket.

Holly wrapped up from the chilly temps with a cute bobble hat and wore fun yellow shades, as she stopped off at Starbucks to get her caffeine fix.

The much-loved TV star is mum to three children; son Harry, daughter Belle, nine and son Chester, six, who she shares with husband Dan Baldwin.

She had addressed her absence from This Morning via a statement shared to her Instagram story. It read: ‘Just wanted to say thank you for all your kind messages.

‘Over the last few days two of our children were unwell and had symptoms of Covid.’

She explained that the family were ‘waiting for results of tests’ before she could return to This Morning, in keeping with government guidelines, adding: ‘Couple that with just wanting to look after two poorly children, it meant having two days away from @thismorning.’

Holly continued: ‘I chose not to alert everyone to this because my focus was on looking after them. Thankfully all tests came back negative and everybody’s feeling much better.’

Her co-host Phillip Schofield had presented Wednesday’s show with Alison Hammond, with Davina McCall stepping in for Holly on Thursday morning’s show.

This Morning airs Monday to Friday on ITV from 10am.
