Jason Derulo has welcomed his first child with girlfriend Jena Frumes who announced they now the proud parents of a son, who they have named Jason King Derulo.

Jena shared the happy news on Instagram with pictures from their first week as new parents, saying their new baby, born on May 8, is ‘everything I never knew I needed’.

Her series of pics show the singer, 31, in the hospital ward with her gazing down at his first child.

In another shot she gently places a hand on her baby son’s body, and in a further photo her child’s tiny hand grips onto her finger.

Jena said in the picture caption: ‘A glimpse of my first week with our healthy handsome little king ??? Life now has so much more meaning & I am so grateful. I’m so so so in love with this little boy he’s everything I never knew I needed.

‘I love you forever @jasonderulo.’

Jason added on his own Instagram: ‘The happiest day of my life bringing our baby boy (Jason King Derulo) home. He’s so lucky to have such a strong caring hero of a mother.’

Making their pregnancy announcement they kept Jena’s due date a secret, telling fans that baby Derulo is ‘coming soon’.

‘Couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter in our life,’ the pop star said with the couple calling each other ‘mum and dad’.

The couple have been dating for over a year and went public with their relationship last March when they were spotted on a dinner date together.

Almost immediately they became TikTok superstars with their creative – and daring – workout videos attracting big audiences.

The stunning pair are keen on their fitness, so it’s no surprise that it was exercise that brought them together.

Jason told Page Six in August: ‘We both have a similar desire to work out all the time, and I had seen her once there before, and then the second time, I was like, “Aight. Imma go talk to her”, and the rest is history.’
