Kylie Jenner fans were crushed when her new Kylie x Grinch makeup collection sold out almost as soon as it was released.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is bringing the glam to Whoville this holiday season with a makeup collaboration with none other than the legendary Dr Seuss Christmas curmudgeon.

We’re green with envy for anyone who managed to snag any of the items in the Kylie x Grinch collection when it was released yesterday.

Items included an eye shadow stick set, candy cane gloss, and a Max the Reindeer blush.

All of the items were playfully wrapped in playful red and green packaging with plenty of red and green Seussical whimsy.

The full set sold for $281 USD (£211.50), and a smaller bundle of ‘Kylie’s Grinch favourites’ would have set you back $143.00 (£108).

The makeup mogul, who recently defended Kim Kardashian’s lavish 40th birthday party, took to Instagram to thank her 201 million fans for their overwhelming interest in her latest venture.

She wrote: ‘We are SOLD OUT of the entire Grinch collection. Wowowwoow I love you guys so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always supporting.

‘This is my fifth holiday collection aah! And I’m so sorry to those who missed out.’

Dismayed fans begged the star to release more product.

One wrote: ‘I waited all week to buy this and I was on the website before 3:00 and it sold out. I wanted the whole PR. Please restock!’

And another added: ‘I am a huge advocate for you and your brand and I constantly buy makeup from you.

‘The fact that I was in line at 6:01pm and waited 15 min in line just to have things out of stock is very upsetting.

‘I get your holiday collections every year and this experience was totally different and disappointing.

‘I didn’t get any of the things in my cart and I am very sad.’

While some might hold out hope for a Christmas miracle, Kylie seemed to suggest the elves were finished work for the season.
