Mark Wright has given fans an update on the progress of his house build as he and Michelle Keegan eagerly wait for the outside to be revealed.
The former Towie star, 34, shared a video of the Georgian windows which had been fitted in the past few days to fit the couple’s specifications.
Mark revealed on his Instagram story: ‘The windows are in, we’re in the dry. Beautiful Georgian windows, something me and the wife have always dreamed of having, a Georgian house with Georgian box sash windows.
‘Whenever me and Michelle stay in hotels that have these box sash windows we always used to say that we’d love to have them at home and we have done it.’
He added that the protective sheeting and scaffolding around the house was ‘days away’ from being removed, which will allow him and Michelle to finally see the home they have been building for over a year.
Mark then shared a video of him and the builders challenging each other to a chin-up competition using the scaffolding still present within the inside of the building.
He and Michelle designed the £3.5million mansion themselves and are looking forward to the build being finished, after construction was slowed down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In May, Mark had shared CGI mock-ups of what the palatial home will look like when finished, which will include five bedrooms, a swimming pool and an annexe, as well as a bar and a gym.
The couple have enlisted landscape designers to ensure their outdoor space looks incredible, telling their followers: ‘Our garden means the world to us and we love the outdoors.
‘We searched high an low to find the best landscape designers, after realising that there was only one company for us…. We begged for them to make some time in their busy schedule. So today, we received this from the outstanding, incredible @rosebanklandscaping.
‘It’s funny how you can have a dream, tell the professionals and they make your dream, bigger than you ever imagined.
‘Here is what the boys Cam & @matt.keightley have designed and created for us. Absolutely blown away and cannot wait to see it come to life!!’
