Michael Douglas shares gorgeous video to mark 21st wedding anniversary with Catherine Zeta-Jones

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are celebrating their 21st wedding anniversary, and it might just be the cutest thing ever.

The world-renowned actors tied the knot on November 18, 2000, and have been blissfully happy together since, settling down in Westchester County in New York with their two children.

Michael, 77, has now marked their anniversary on Instagram by creating a gorgeous video documenting their life together, from when they first began dating, to their wedding day, to recent snaps of the pair on trips abroad or cuddled up together.

As if things couldn’t get any sweeter, the actor paired the collage with the American Authors’ anthem Best Day Of My Life.

The video finishes with the words: ‘Happy Anniversary my darling Catherine!

‘I love you so much!’

Fans responded in their droves to the cute gesture, with one wishing them well for the ‘many years ahead’, adding ‘Congratulations!’.

‘Happy Anniversary to you both’, another wrote. ‘Stay strong in love. The World need much more flowerpower and love.’

One wrote: ‘Happy Anniversary Lovebirds!’ while another fan said ‘Congratulations!! You are a wonderful and much-admired couple.’

‘Keep going, how romantic’, another gushed. ‘Love to you both on your anniversary.’

Catherine tends to keep her family life a little more private, but earlier this year gushed over her husband in a rare Instagram post showing the pair kissing in front of a dreamy sunset.

The Entrapment star is seen holding Michael’s face as she plants a smooch on him, quoting a line from William Shakespeare alongside her social media PDA.

She wrote: ‘I can express no kinder sign of love, than this kind kiss.’

Michael and Catherine, 51, are evidently still very much in love after over two decades together, but Michael has admitted the 26-year age gap can sometimes lead to awkward moments.

The Wall Street actor recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show where he revealed he had attended the graduation of his daughter Carys, 18, and was mistaken for her grandfather.

He said the graduation was ‘lovely’ despite the coronavirus precautions, adding: ‘It was so wonderful, I’m so proud of her.

‘I gotta tell you Kelly, it’s a little rough when you’re going out the doors and the other parents are saying, “Oh congratulations… you must be so proud of your granddaughter.”

The couple also share 20-year-old Dylan.

Welsh actress Catherine has starred in a number of box office hits, including Oceans Twelve and The Legend of Zorro.

Her next major role will be as Morticia Addams in Tim Burton’s Wednesday Addams series.
