She ended the most by urging fans to swipe up and donate to Cheryl’s JustGiving page.

The most recent update on the page was penned by her children, Joseph, Hannah and Georgia, letting concerned members of the public know that their mum had died.

‘Hello everyone, this is Joseph, Hannah and Georgia, Cheryl’s children,’ they wrote.

‘Sadly, Mum passed away on 01/02/2021. She was very peaceful and holding the hands of her family.

‘It is clear from the support so far how loved she is and how much she will be missed. She really made her mark here.

‘Thank you for all your donations so far. Lots of love.’

At the time of writing, the family have raised more than £9,000 in their mum’s memory, smashing the £1,000 target.

According to the MailOnline, Cheryl shared the news of her cancer diagnosis last year in a previous update on the page.

She explained how it had spread to her liver and lungs, and had decided to undertake a five-hour bounce-off to raise money and awareness.

‘As if 2020 couldn’t be s****y enough with a global pandemic, earlier this month I was diagnosed with bowel cancer which has decided to take a first class trip to my liver and lungs,’ the publication states she wrote.

‘I am waiting to see which treatment I will be blessed with, in the meantime I thought I would keep myself busy and focus on something else rather than the s**tshow my family are facing.

‘No doom and gloom allowed!’

‘I have taken inspiration from the twins at Coppafeel Charity and have decided to undertake a 5 hour bounce off,’ Cheryl added.

‘The event coincides with the final of TGBBO, so my children and I will be channelling Bake Off vibes as we bounce (expect tunes, glitter and Paul Hollywood masks).

‘We will be bouncing on trampolines for 5 hours and streaming it live on Instagram – pray for my pelvic floor.’
