Rita Ora recently turned 30 and, to mark her milestone birthday, she reportedly celebrated with friends at a Notting Hill restaurant despite the national lockdown.
England is currently in a national lockdown until December 2, meaning all pubs, bars and restaurants are closed to the public and people are prohibited from socialising with people outside of their household.
According to reports, Rita hosted a birthday bash with 30 friends at a restaurant in London, with model Cara Delevingne, former Towie star Vas J Morgan and the singer’s sister Elena Ora all in attendance.
Rita’s guests were seen arriving at Casa Cruz restaurant in pictures obtained by The Sun.
Sources told the paper: ‘There were a number of guests, all dressed up very glamorously, and everyone entered the building through the back, with security watching the front to make sure no one else went in.’
‘It went on until the early hours,’ they added.
Police were also pictured outside of the venue, with a spokesperson for the Met Police confirming to the publication they had been called out to West London over reports of a potential Covid-19 breach.
The restaurant’s director, Nicholas Fallows, said it was the ‘first he’d heard’ about the dinner party.
It comes after Rita was seen ringing in her birthday at home, with the star telling fans she had wanted to get all ‘dressed up’ despite not being able to celebrate properly.
Taking to Instagram, Rita shared a glam photo of her tucking into her birthday cake and revealed: ‘Me and cake and some trousers I couldn’t breathe in. Thank you for all the love it felt weird not doing anything for my bday so being me I dressed up and ate cake ?.
‘Also clock the hairspray on the table lol anyway thank you for everyone who showed me endless love on my born day I’m forever grateful you all know who you are. Today I’m going to finish the rest of my cake for breakfast lunch and dinner. Byeeeeeeeeee.’
Rita revealed her team had also surprised her with a video they had put together of her family, friends and celebrity pals wishing her happy birthday.
Titled Dirty 30, the video saw the likes of huge stars including Mariah Carey, Sir Mick Jagger, Sir Michael Caine and Lionel Richie reaching out to Rita with the birthday wishes, as well as Nicholas Grimshaw, Jonathan Ross and Naomi Campbell.
Rita shared the video with fans and was blown away by the efforts her loved ones had gone to. She posted: ‘My team surprised me with this video for my birthday this week and I was crying from joy and happiness!!!! I can’t believe I cried so much lol.
‘I’m so thankful to all my friends and family for all the support they’ve given me over the past 30 years of my life!!! I had to shorten everyones beautiful messages but I’m so grateful to EVERYONE who sent theirs, you know who you are and I’ve never felt so loved.’
