YouTuber Colleen Ballinger has welcomed baby twins with her husband Erik Stocklin, with the star sharing a vlog to announce the happy news.
The couple, who already share their two-year-old son Flynn, welcomed a baby daughter and son by emergency C-section.
The 34-year-old Miranda Sings star revealed the babies weren’t due until December 27, with the star giving birth at just 32 and a half weeks pregnant.
She shared footage of them in the NICU (newborn intensive care unit) but reassured fans that the babies are doing ‘great’.
‘I just want to let you know that we’re fine, the babies are fine – I know it’s a little scary to see them in the NICU but that’s because it’s scary to have babies in the NICU!’ Colleen explained.
‘But they are so great, they’re so strong, they’re both breathing on their own, they’re doing really, really great. So it’s kind of scary and hard for us to see the footage, to see them there, to share this with the world, but it is real and it’s part of their story and our story.
‘They’re doing really great and we’re really proud of them and we’re so freaking grateful for everyone who works at the NICU at the hsopital who have kept them safe.
‘The reason they’re here is because of all the incredible workers at the NICU, there are not enough words to express how grateful we are for all of them and all that they do.’
Colleen was unable to hold the little ones immediately, as they were born so prematurely but she was soon able to give them a cuddle.
The couple haven’t come up with names for the babies just yet, revealing that they’re taking life ‘five minutes at a time’ at the moment.
The YouTube star revealed earlier this year that she was pregnant after a miscarriage.
Colleen broke down in tears as she learned the heartwarming news in a video montage, however, the joyous moment arrived after a number of negative tests.
Speaking to her fans, she shared that her baby joy came after losing a pregnancy just months previously.
‘I got pregnant at the beginning of this year and unfortunately I had a miscarriage and it was one of the most awful things I’ve ever been through, if not the most awful thing I’ve ever been through,’ she said.
‘We knew that we immediately wanted to start trying to have another baby,’ Colleen added.
She revealed just days later that they were expecting twins.
