LadBaby has teamed up with Ronan Keating to sprinkle little extra magic on his new song as he aims to get another Christmas number one.
The YouTube star, along with his wife Roxanne and Ronan, have recorded a brand new version of their charity single Don’t Stop Me Eatin’ with a music video arriving on Monday.
The Irish singer had previously teased they could join forces as they both battle for the festive top spot this year.
LadBaby, real name Mark Hoyle, announced the news on Instagram on Sunday.
He said: ‘GUESS WHO’S RECORDED A SECOND VERSION OF THEIR SONG WITH RONAN KEATING!!!!! ?
‘OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO TOMORROW: Monday, 9am, YouTube!’
He went on: ‘Our official second version of our song ‘Don’t Stop Me Eatin’ with @rokeating is available to download tomorrow and EVERY download from both our songs will count towards trying to get us to Number One and raising even more money for the Trussell Trust!
‘PLEASE keep downloading, we have 4 HUGE days where we will need every download possible to stand a chance of getting the Official Xmas Number One!!!’
Ronan joined the couple for a socially distanced recording session, posing for a group picture.
It comes as the first look at the 2020 Christmas number one race put Don’t Stop Eatin’ in the lead.
The song, a cover of Journey classic Don’t Stop Believin’, is potentially set to be one of the biggest opening weeks of the year, according to the Official Charts Company.
Mark and Roxanne landed the Christmas number one in 2018 with We Built This City and again in 2019 with I Love Sausage Rolls.
Currently behind them in the charts is Jess Glynne with This Christmas at number two, a cover of Donny Hathaway’s 1971 single which is being released as an Amazon Music exclusive.
