Machine Gun Kelly is celebrating getting a number one album for the first time on the Billboard 200 chart.
The rocker topped the chart at the weekend with Tickets To My Downfall.
Sharing the news on Twitter, the 30-year-old said: ‘Waited my entire career to repost this.’
Tickets To My Downfall, produced by Blink-182’s Travis Barker – is also the first rock album to top the Billboard 200 chart in over a year.
He bests his previous highest chart position of number 4 with Lace Up in 2012 and General Admission in 2015.
The record was no doubt given a boost by his girlfriend, Jennifer’s Body actress Megan Fox, who appears in the video for the track Bloody Valentine.
When asked on The Sunday Project whether Megan had had a pay day for making a cameo, a flustered MGK clarified that they weren’t dating when the video was made.
Machine Gun Kelly – real name Colson Baker – and the Tranformers star went public with their relationship in June.
The musician insisted he knew she was the one for him straight away.
Appearing on the Howard Stern Show, MGK said: ‘I didn’t know what [love] was until me and her made eye contact. That’s when I was like, “whoa.”
‘After I made the big chunk of the album, I did fall in love for the first time.’
‘That was my first experience with being open to love and stuff like that,’ he explained. ‘I definitely wasn’t set up to believe that that’s something that could ever exist.’
Megan was previously married to Brian Austin Green for 10 years. The couple share children Noah, eight, and four-year-old Journey.
