“Dreamy pop, with a twist of gritty R&B” NME Magazine

The Indien are pleased to announce that their brand new single Long Time Lover is out today Wednesday 30th September 2020 via Disturbing London. Listen now. Hailing from The Hauge in The Netherlands, The Indien unleash this new offering, which follows on from their previous single Born Again released earlier this year. Long Time Lover leans into a combination of musical elements from classic to contemporary, from soul, to 60’s garage pop layered with frontwoman Rianne’s honey-toned vocal.

“Longtime Lover is a song about not standing your ground in relationships. The song starts off pretty mellow, mirroring the narrative of just going along with everything the lover wants, but in a dysfunctional way” – Rianne

The Indien are Rianne Walther (vocals), Casper Talsma (guitars) and their band, and purveyors of crafting soul-infused indie pop fused with a juxtaposition of both dreamlike and grittier, analogue vocals. Freshly signed to Disturbing London, the entertainment company founded by Dumi Oburota and Tinie Tempah, the band dropped a debut single Blame You which was well received by the likes of Jack Saunders (Radio 1) and John Kennedy (Radio X). The band are currently honing new music in the studio.
