With travel back on the cards and more of us on the move, the dread of packing has once again entered our lives.

What if I pack too much or too little? What if my bag is over the weight limit? Is that a cabin-size suitcase or am I just short-sighted?

This stress is never more apparent than when flying with budget airlines.

They may have cheap and cheerful flights but the baggage limitations can cause unnecessary drama on even the shortest of trips.

However, one TikTok user has shared how we can pack more if you have little to no baggage allowance on a flight.

User @kristenashleyblack shows users how she managed to pack all her belongings in nothing but a backpack.

Showing viewers how to ‘save space, save money’ she creates a travel pillow made out of her clothes.

She wraps a knitted polo jumper and other tops together before moulding them into the pillow shape around her neck.

For souvenirs, she advises people to place them under a bobble hat if they are small enough.

Meanwhile, her pockets are also filled to the brim with her belongings.

The remainder of her possessions go into her backpack.

Since being posted the video has received over 5.6 million views with Ryanair even commenting on the savvy hack.

‘Bestie I’m scared,’ wrote the business.

A former employee of the airline also weighed in telling Kristen she is right to pack in such an unconventional way.

‘As a former employee of theirs please do it, they overcharge for luggage so do you bestie,’ she commented.

Yet, not everyone was impressed with Kristen’s skills.

‘This is why it takes hours to get through security. Take a train, walk or just stay home if you broke – just let us live,’ said one disgruntled follower.

Kristen is a seasoned traveller with specific expertise when it comes to travelling on a budget. Her videos show viewers how to navigate some not so nice activities including showering in the airport.

In another clip she tells users to use a baby changing room for adequate space when one is not in use. There you should brush your teeth, remove makeup, wash your face and your hair in the sink before using a hand dryer to dry your mane.

Next, use baby wipes and deodorant to rid yourself of any body odour, reapply your makeup and get dressed.

And then, it’s time to take your flight.
