Madeira is added to UK’s Green List

Savoy Palace welcomes UK guests again from 17th May

My Celebrity Life –

Savoy Palace, flagship hotel of leading Madeiran hospitality group, Savoy Signature, is delighted to be welcoming UK guests back to the hotel from 17th May, as Madeira has been officially added to the UK’s ‘green list’.

Member of Leading Hotels of The World, the interiors for this contemporary ode to Madeira are a joint venture between the destination’s top designer, Nini Andrade Silva, and RH+ Architects. The hotel, which opened in 2019, tells the story of Madeira’s traditions, landscape, and culture through striking design.

Heal Through Nature at The Laurea Spa

One of the highlights of the luxurious hotel is the 3,100 square metre destination Laurea Spa,  inspired by Madeira’s most beautiful natural treasure and a UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Laurissilva Forest.

Madeira is world famous for its natural beauty and outdoor activities. How better to heal from the stresses of the pandemic than to bathe in the ancient forests and mountains which cover much of this subtropical island, followed by more nature-inspired healing at one of Europe’s most exciting new spas, with world-class treatments from the likes of Sodashi, Aromatherapy Associates and Vitaman.

VIP Guest Experiences

The hotel offers Suite guests a ‘boutique-hotel-within-a-hotel’, an exclusive panoramic space for suite guests at the top of the property. This is suitable for those in search of a more socially distanced, private holiday experience but with the benefits of a luxury hotel, the perfect solution for those who want to optimise safety but not change their holiday choice.  Suite guests can also enjoy flexible check in and check out times, with check-ins from 9am and check-outs up to 10pm.

The well-appointed and elegantly furnished rooms range from 40 to 260 square metres, characterised by exclusive and refined interiors, where quality and detail are at the forefront. There are a wide range of suites available, some with their own swimming pools, equipped with plunge pools on their balcony, and an impressive presidential suite with panoramic views. All suite guests are entitled to a dedicated offering of the Savoy Premium Experience, this grants direct and exclusive access to the two-floor Jacarandá Lounge & Club, restaurant and private sundeck on the 16th and 17th floors, complimentary treats and select in-room amenities.

The resort is just a short walk from the capital’s stylish Old Town. Savoy Palace also offers a range of top restaurants and bars, a kid’s club and numerous impressive swimming pools (including an adults-only infinity version and one dedicated to kids).

To celebrate the return of international guests, Savoy Palace is offering 15% off stays at the hotel when you book direct.
